I joined Civic Engineers in March 2017 with experience of working on projects large and small in the rail, airport, nuclear, education, commercial and residential sectors. I am really looking forward to doing more building design at Civic Engineers.
My passion for the construction industry began in 2007, at the age of 17, with a work shadowing placement at Atkins. I completed five summer placements with the company and joined as a Structural Engineer when I graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2012.
I became a Chartered Member of the ICE in 2016. I am enthusiastic about the role of the IStructE and sit on both the Young Member’s Panel and the Diversity and Social Inclusion Task Group.
Outside of work I like to travel, particularly exploring new cities, and spend time with friends and family. I enjoy running on weekends and regularly attend both Pilates and HIIT classes at my local gym. These classes give me a great opportunity to mentally unwind and meet up with friends in the local community.
