Klara Ludinova

Hi, I am Klara from the Czech Republic. I studied a Master´s degree in civil and structural engineering at University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, the city of the best beer Pilsner. I always wanted to be a mathematician or an architect but I couldn’t make my mind between the two and decided to become a structural engineer – the best way how to do my beloved calculations with building design involved in. I spent a year as an Erasmus student in Manchester and did a summer internship with Civic Engineers afterwards and am excited to still be working with them.

Outside of work I enjoy travelling or drawing, especially funny animals. My life quote, which can be very motivating for the engineering challenges, is from the book of my childhood Winnie the Pooh: “You must always remember … You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think”.
