Congratulations to everyone here at Civic Engineers who last night helped us win the ‘Environment and Sustainability Business of the Year’ award at the Manchester Evening News Business Awards.

Recognised for our commitment to making a difference across our community and the environment, the award marks a special celebration for the team, honouring our work delivering projects that transform buildings, neighbourhoods and cities along with bringing significant economic, social and environmental benefits for those who live, work and visit them.

The MEN Business Awards remains the longest standing awards of their kind in the region with a history of rewarding and celebrating successful companies across all sectors. One of fourteen winners across various categories announced at a ceremony at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester’s city centre last night, it’s a fantastic accolade for the team to receive, in the city where the business was founded nearly ten years ago.

With our Manchester-based projects, including Mayfield Park, Manchester City Centre’s first new public park in more than 100 years, and iconic music venue Band on the Wall, as well as our commitment to retrofitting, reusing and recycling materials and buildings where possible, this recognition from the MEN Business Awards represents the impact our team’s work is having as we continue to spearhead our approach to climate sensitivity and innovation.
