Cycle to MIPIM: Announcing our 2023 Sponsors

With under two weeks until this year’s Cycle to MIPIM kicks-off, we’re delighted to announce the amazing sponsors who will be supporting us.

The Knight Frank Cycle to MIPIM, an iconic seven day cycling relay, wouldn’t be able to happen without the support of our cycle jersey sponsors who once again, play a huge part in helping us raise vital funds for Club Peloton. Helping to transform many young lives through the various projects the charity and real estate cycling community supports, last year our Directors, Gareth Atkinson and James Bruce, raised an incredible £11,350 between them for Club Peloton causes.

A real test of endurance, this year’s ride will once again see cyclists riding 1500km from London to the MIPIM property fair in Cannes, with 85 participants split across four teams. With a new route announced for this year, riders will set off on Wednesday the 8th March and arrive in Cannes on Tuesday the 14th March.

With the importance of visibility key, it’s not just the famous yellow jersey that serves as a symbol of winning, our bright green Civic Engineers cycle jersey is back, and once again, sports the names of our brilliant sponsors.

Representing Civic Engineers in the seven day cycling relay, Simon Keating, a Senior Transport Engineer in our London studio, will be cycling for us in 2023. With each rider tasked to raise a minimum of £3,000 each, funds raised by Simon and the team will work to continue transforming the lives of vulnerable young people.

First-time Cycle to MIPIM rider, Simon shared his excitement ahead of departure day, “Due to the late nature of me signing up, (Simon stepped in for London Director, Andrew Ruck, who sustained an injury recently and had to pull-out of the cycle) I haven’t done the usual MIPIM winter training programme but following a winter of my usual off-road cycling, including cyclocross training sessions, an offroad form of bike racing that that involves cycling across muddy fields and running with your bike over obstacles, I feel slightly less daunted than I should considering the lack of specific preparation ahead of this major challenge.

“I know from my colleagues that have taken part in previous years that it will be an incredible experience but also a real test of endurance, for mind, legs, body and bottom for sure. A big thank you to our sponsors and everyone that has donated so far, I’m looking forward to playing my part in helping to raise such vital funds for Club Peloton’s crucial work supporting young people.”
