It’s Back! London Studio Hosts Charity Quiz

A big well done to our London studio who last night raised an incredible £3,500 hosting their Cycle to MIPIM annual fundraising night.

Welcoming over 100 guests to the capital’s London Beer Factory Barrel Project the evening saw those attending split into 19 groups to go head to head in our five-round quiz. Quickly getting competitive, our teams tackled rounds including general knowledge, sports, music and the popular ‘Will it Sink or Will it Swim’. Raffle tickets sold during the evening also contributed to our highest fundraising total to date, with this year’s £3,500 eclipsing last year’s £2,200.

Raising additional funds towards this year’s Knight Frank Cycle to MIPIM race, an iconic seven day cycling relay our very own Simon Keating completed by cycling 1500km from London to Cannes last month, the cycle helps raise vital funds for Club Peloton. Helping to transform many young lives through the various projects the charity and real estate cycling community supports, the quiz builds on earlier funds raised by Simon and our ride sponsors ahead of MIPIM’s annual property fair.

For our raffle tickets we had 18 donations gifted by local businesses including prizes such as dinner and cocktails at All Bar One, gift hampers from Kiehls and Paperchase, tickets to see Jools Holland live, family tickets to the Tower Bridge and Monument tourist attraction and lots of lovely wine and Easter hampers created by the team.

With a lively crowd including our own team members, cyclists, Club Peloton representatives and many of our clients and collaborators, it was fantastic to have so many of our partners and contacts in one room, all coming together to play our own small part in helping Club Peloton continue transforming the lives of vulnerable young people across our communities.

Finally, congratulations to the U+I team who were the quiz winners on the evening, walking away with a trophy and their pride after competing in a nail-biting rock, paper, scissors tie-break! On the winner team, our Co-founding Director, Julian Broster shared: “Four rounds of rock, paper, scissors saw us announced as the winners, after a fantastic quiz organised by the team. The ‘Will it Sink, Will it Swim’ round was a big hit, along with some wonderful prizes organised for our raffle. A big thank you to everyone who came and supported and helped us to raise such vital funds for this very worthwhile cause, we hope everyone had as much fun as we did.”
