Join us for our NLA event: London, Manchester, Glasgow – Becoming Truly Sustainable

Next Tuesday, 15th December at 10am, our Co-founding Director Stephen O’Malley will be speaking at our event hosted by New London Architecture which focuses on the cities of Manchester, London and Glasgow, all cities we are proud to have a presence in. The webinar will bring together speakers from both the built environment and political landscape to explore how they will achieve true sustainability.  With each city facing similar climate emergency challenges, each has its own unique character, history, landscape, priorities and plans as to how they propose to tackle the issues they face. Against the backdrop of the UK hosting the 26th UN global Climate Change Conference in Glasgow next November, this event will also explore the action the industry needs to take to tackle climate change and the importance of collaboration in working towards achieving true sustainability.  The event will be chaired by Peter Murray, Currator-in-Chief, NLA with speakers confirmed as;

Stephen O’Malley – Co-founding Director, Civic Engineers

Roger Hawkins – Partner, Hawkins Brown

Dr. Paola Pasino – Principal Officer, City Centre Regeneration: City Centre City Deal and City Centre Strategy, Glasgow City Council

Damian Hemmings – Principal Policy Officer for Energy & Climate Policy, Westminster City Council
