An exceptional Senior Structural Engineer to join our Manchester Studio with a wide range of experience across all sectors. Commercially aware you’ll excel in your design and analytical skills and be able to demonstrate through your past projects strong verbal and graphical communication and contractual awareness.

You’ll be an excellent project resource planner with experience of deadline management and a desire to manage and inspire a team of engineers. This is a key appointment for a progressive and talented engineer who is keen to influence the Practice’s growth strategy.  The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in architecture and the wider public realm/built environment.

BIM Manager

Experience Required:

  • Typically a minimum of 10 years production experience in design, drafting or Engineering using Revit and AutoCAD
  • Must have an in-depth working knowledge of current BIM up to Level 2 including working in collaborative environments and clash detection.
  • Civil/Structural Engineering HNC, or equivalent
  • Professional accreditation with ICE and/or other professional institutions.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Strong written and English speaking ability
  • Strong graphical communication
  • Strong IT and software skills
  • Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals
  • Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance
