I began my career as a highways engineer with a large consultancy working on major infrastructure and other public realm highways jobs which has allowed to gain the fundamental knowledge and experience needed within the civil engineering industry.

I joined the Civic team in March 2025 after being attracted by the values held by the company and a desire to be more involved in sustainable and nature-base designs. The role has allowed me to continue to develop as an engineer and deepen my knowledge of urban infrastructure.

When I can find the time, I love to be outside, especially hiking and exploring in the mountains. I have managed to get almost 100 munros under my belt and am hoping to eventually get all 282. I also like to explore the mountains abroad (when my partner allows!). The image below was taken in New Zealand when we were touring the Remarkables Mountain range.
