Assistant Civil and Infrastructure Engineer

Hi, I am currently on a yearlong placement from Liverpool John Moores University where I am completing my MEng degree in Civil Engineering. Last year, I was at Civic for four months over the summer and was delighted when they asked me to return – although not about the commute… Civic offered me my first taste of engineering work which came at an important time as I was undecided whether to pursue civil or structural engineering.

Outside of work I enjoy watching football, walking my dog Max and travelling. I currently have a list of adventures planned for the coming year, the most exciting of which being climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.

Personally, I have a huge love affair with watches which was inherited from my Grandad. Growing up, me and him would make jewellery and fix a whole range of horological pieces from turn of the century pocket watches to modern dive watches in his workshop. The most recent watch that has made its way into my possession is my Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro Diver, a beautiful and highly functional watch which makes seeing that there is still five hours left of my shift more bearable.
