Associate

I joined Civic Engineers in March 2017 with experience of working on projects large and small in the rail, airport, nuclear, education, commercial and residential sectors.

My passion for the construction industry began in 2007, at the age of 17, with a work shadowing placement at Atkins. I completed five summer placements with the company and joined as a Structural Engineer when I graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2012.

I became a Chartered Member of the ICE in 2016. I am enthusiastic about the role of the IStructE and sit on both the Young Member’s Panel and the Diversity and Social Inclusion Task Group.

Outside of work I like to travel, particularly exploring new cities, and spend time with friends and family. I enjoy running on weekends and regularly attend both Pilates and HIIT classes at my local gym. These classes give me a great opportunity to mentally unwind and meet up with friends in the local community.
