Hi, I’m Ryan and I joined Civic Engineers in May 2019. I am originally from South Africa where I studied and graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering. I then went on to work for a small structural consulting firm in Wellington, New Zealand for a year before joining a large international consulting firm, Aurecon, in South Africa.

During my career I have been involved in a wide range of project type and scale from small bridge replacement structures to large mega liter breweries and residential schemes. I have worked for large private clients as well as the public sector, covering structural and civil design aspects.

I joined Civic Engineers for the opportunity to get involved in innovative and environmentally friendly projects that challenge the status quo and improve the lives of the end user.

I enjoy travel and the chance to explore while experiencing new cultures and food. I also enjoy running, cycling and hiking off the beaten track and look forward to challenging myself with some longer distance events in the years to come.
