Having initially studied at the University of Manchester, I spent 10 years practicing Structural Engineering within the London market for two design led practices, AKTII and Heyne Tillett Steel, where I worked on a wide range of new-build and refurbishment projects with project values up to £210M, several of which include collaboration with signature Architects on award-winning schemes. In 2019 my family and I decided to move back north to reside in North Yorkshire before joining Civic Engineers in 2021.

I have experience throughout all RIBA stages of work in multiple building sectors including commercial, residential, office, tourism & education with extensive experience in the use of RC and steel-framed structures, including basements, high-rise and extension of existing structures.

Outside of work I endeavor to keep fit through running and cycling and when I get a spare few minutes, there is always some DIY to do.
