AJ Climate Champions Podcast – COP26
Recently, our Co-founding Director Stephen O’Malley took part in the Architects Journal Climate Champions podcast series.
Hosted by AJ’s Sustainability Editor, Hattie Hartman, the podcast focused on exploring two projects happening on the ground in Glasgow as the city hosts COP26 and welcomes over 30,000 visitors.
Stephen, during the podcast, talks about our work on the Avenues project, which will see key city centre streets redesigned in Glasgow to improve connectivity, focus more on active travel and crucially, with COP26 in mind, ensure the city is as climate resilient as possible. Also on the podcast was Becca Thomas from New Practice, a collaborator of ours who have designed The Sustainable Glasgow Landing, an area outside of the main zone where the climate and social justice movements meet the arts. Whilst you’re listening, it’s also worth tuning into the podcast featuring Glasgow City Council’s Paola Pasino and Architects Climate Action Network’s Evelyn Choy to hear from them about what to see and do in Glasgow virtually and in person over the course of COP26! https://www.architectsjournal.co.uk/podcasts
