We’re excited to announce we have a Glasgow Studio!

We are delighted to announce the opening of our Glasgow studio which gives Civic Engineers a permanent Scottish home. We have been seeking to build on our presence in Scotland and to help us achieve this we have taken on the Glasgow arm of consulting engineers Structa LLP. This move sees the 11-strong team become part of Civic Engineers and they will be based from our studio on West Nile St in Glasgow city centre.

Our focus is on working in partnership with our clients and collaborators to deliver high quality buildings, structures and public spaces. 2017 has already been a busy year so far with us completing some incredible projects including Exeter College, Oxford; No 1 Cambridge St , Manchester; our Leeds studio celebrating its first year; winning a NLA Award for our SuDS guidance document we co-authored with J&L Gibbons for Transport for London, and achieving a ranking in the NCE Top 100 Companies. Establishing our fourth studio is a positive, natural step and further strengthens our engineering capacity and expertise, whilst allowing us to build on the work we have already undertaken in Scotland.

The Glasgow team will be led by Directors Isla Jackson and Iain McIntyre, both highly experience engineers who have led on many high-profile projects across Scotland, including Edenmill Distillery & Brewery and the Sentinel Centre in Glasgow . Along with their team, they will assist us with the delivery of our current portfolio whilst working to grow our Scottish business. They will be working closely with our Directors in our Manchester, London and Leeds offices.

We look forward to telling you more about our Scottish team and their work over the coming months.
