In amongst the packed diaries, Stephen and Gareth will be taking part in panels discussing key industry issues.

ESG as a value driver – The Salon Croisette

On Wednesday, 16th March, 2pm – 2.30pm, Gareth will be joining the Estates Gazette programme and participating in the panel discussing ESG As a Value Driver. As the real estate industry continues to strengthen its commitment to investing in ESG positive assets, offsetting carbon emissions and plans towards achieving net-zero targets, there are also opportunities to make a social impact that will contribute to building smart cities. This session will explore how ESG can be used to drive value, increase investment opportunities and how real estate can become a sustainability champion. Alongside Gareth on the panel will Cees van der Spek from EDGE, Hala El Akl from Oxford Properties Group, Katie Whipp from Deepki UK. The session will be chaired by Emily Wright, Head of Content at Estates Gazette. Keeping London Active – London Stand

On Thursday, 17th March, 2pm – 2.45pm on the London Stand, Stephen O’Malley will be taking part in a panel about ‘Keeping London active.’

During the pandemic, active travel became the norm, with more citizens depending on walking and cycling to move around. This change in collective behaviour brought with it major benefits to the environment and to the health of the population, as well as the revival of the concept for a ’15-minute city.’ This session asks what changes we need to implement to our streets, buildings and environment to keep London active.

The session will be moderated by Sam McClary, Editor Estates Gazette and alongside Stephen on the panel will be Philip Graham, Greater London Authority and Patricia Brown from Central. You can find out more about this and other London stand sessions here https://www.mipim.com/en-gb/london-at-mipim/conferences-and-events.html
