Manchester at MIPIM programme announced and Civic Engineers will be talking Park Life!

The jam packed Manchester at MIPIM programme for 2019 has been announced and we’re looking forward to playing our part on the panel taking place on Tuesday 12th March at 4.30pm in the Manchester Pavilion. The panel will be discussing and debating “Park Life: A 21st Century Park for Manchester.” The discussion will explore the new green heart proposed as part of the Mayfield Development and the importance and role of green spaces in our cities.  The 6.5 acre park will be the first park in Manchester for over 100 years.

Our Founding Director Stephen O’Malley will be taking a seat alongside James Heather, Development Director from U+I, David Rudlin, Director of Urbed Manchester and Chair of the Academy of Urbanism and Joanne Roney, Chief Executive from Manchester City Council. Maria Vassilakou, Deputy Mayor of Vienna will also be sharing her experiences from Vienna and the panel will be moderated by Jessica Middleton-Pugh, Editor at Place North West.
