At the heart of the Civic Engineers practice are our people and we’re proud to announce that 15 of our team have been promoted across our 4 studios in Manchester, London, Leeds and Glasgow. At senior level, James Bruce has been made a Director in the Manchester Studio. James, who joined the business 6 years ago as a Senior Structural Engineer will join the Director team in Manchester alongside existing Director Paul Morris and Group Founding Directors Stephen O’Malley and Julian Broster.  Sam Harland has been made an Associate Director in our London, with Kevin Hagan taking on the role of Technical Director in Leeds.  Lee Kierans and Charles Hollingsworth, both based in Manchester, have been promoted to Associates. Across the practice 6 team members have been promoted to Senior Engineer, and 4 to Design Engineer, these are;

• Rachael Fitton and Dan Podesta, both based in Manchester promoted to Senior Structural Engineer.
• Scott Manning in Glasgow, Tom Murphy in Leeds, Grace Foster and Peter Collier both in Manchester, have all been promoted to Senior Civil Engineer.
• Dominique Pitman and Tyron Mullins in London and Liam Heyes in Manchester have been promoted to Structural Design Engineer.
• Nanette Heystek in Manchester has been promoted to Civil Design Engineer.

The promotions come at a time when the practice has won some significant new commissions and continues to deliver high profile projects across the UK. Founding Director, Julian Broster said, “We recently celebrated 5 years since the practice became Civic Engineers, and it is fantastic to see it going from strength to strength with us working on a wide range of structural and civil engineering projects across the UK.
