From the iconic Shell-Mex Headquarters on 80 Strand, through to Avro, one of Manchester’s last untouched Victorian Mills and the refurbishment of Grade II* listed Park Hill in Sheffield, our love of ‘reftrofit’ projects across the UK is plain to see. It’s this love for, and belief in taking a ‘retrofirst’ approach wherever possible in our work, that has led us to support AJ’s first ever Retrofit Live event taking place in central London on Wednesday, 23^rd November 2022.

AJ Retrofit Live is a brand-new event centred around the Architect’s Journal’s well-established awards programme and editorial theme. The unique event will bring together, architects and the wider built environment to identify the best retrofit and circular economy practices and discuss the changes needed to upgrade the built environment in line with whole-life carbon principles.

At the event, we’ll not only be exhibiting, we’ll also be contributing to the programme about our approach to retrofit and talking about some of our recent retrofit projects.
