Supporting creative placemaking at Liverpool’s Bloom 2025
We’re pleased to be supporting Baltic Creative’s Bloom 2025 festival right on our doorstep in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle.
Taking place Thursday 6th March at Camp and Furnace, Bloom offers support, inspiration and connection for businesses in the creative and digital economy in the North of England.
The festival is a response to the growing digital and creative sectors in the UK, bringing businesses from across the North together to celebrate innovation and drive future growth.
With this year’s focus on ‘collaboration’, the agenda closely aligns to our values at Civic Engineers, with a day of panel discussions, fireside chats and networking.
We look forward to supporting the afternoon’s ‘creative placemaking: people, places and possibility’ panel, which will bring together Assemble Architects, PLACED and This Must Be The Place to share ideas and tales for placemakers, designers, community leaders and policymakers.
Steve Rotheram, Mayor of the Liverpool City Region, and Tracy Brabin, Mayor of West Yorkshire, will also feature as part of the opening panel, “The Creative North”.
Katrina Davis, director of communications and culture, said: “Creativity is at the heart of everything we do at Civic Engineers. As civil, structural and transport engineers, we’re proud to bring art and science together to help solve problems and have a positive impact on people’s lives and the environment. Bloom is an opportunity to champion collaboration, placemaking and community across the North and closely aligns with our values.
“We’re proud to support such a great event taking place here in Liverpool. There’s lots to be excited for in the city, including Liverpool Waters’ Central Docks scheme, where we’re leading the design team delivering the first phase and helping to create one of the city’s largest green spaces.”
