Talking Glasgow Avenues and Inclusion with Scotland at MIPIM as programme is launched
With just over 2 weeks until MIPIM gets underway, the programme for the Scottish pavilion has been announced and Civic Engineers will be taking part in two panels.
This year we are Silver Sponsors for the Scotland at MIPIM delegation which brings together all the major cities within Scotland, as well as attending as part of the Manchester delegation.
Our Founding Director, Stephen O’Malley will be taking part in the panel that opens the Scotland Pavilion on the morning of Tuesday 12th March at 10am. The panel entitled ‘Glasgow – A Great European City’, will highlight the major city-wide investment opportunities as well as how the city centre is being transformed via initiatives such as the Avenues Project and Glasgow City Deal. Stephen will be talking in particular about our work leading the Design Team for Block A of the Avenues project and the difference the project will make to the city.
On Thursday 13th March at 10am, Glasgow Director, Isla Jackson will be giving her thoughts on ‘inclusion’ as part of the panel called, ‘Real Estate with a Purpose.’ This panel will look at the increasing evidence that inclusion is important for business performance and highlight Scotland’s leading position on sustainable economic growth.
