Alfie Brewster
Civil Engineering Technician
My name is Alfie Brewster and I am an Civil Engineering Technician here at Civic Engineers. I joined the London team in July of 2017 as an apprentice, having recently finished Sixth-Form in June of the same year. From a young age, I was always fascinated by architecture and megastructures, seeding from my love of Ancient Greek and Roman history. Once in secondary school my love for design flourished with the introduction of the CAD software that the school had to offer and I have been hooked on honing my skills on similar software ever since.
Civic Engineers gives the opportunity to do just this, allowing me to develop my existing skills whilst learning new ones every day. Being part of the team is very exciting and I look forward to what the future brings.
I would describe myself as an outgoing individual and a slight health freak, keeping myself active by going to the gym on a regular basis. I enjoy travelling all over the country going hiking and climbing with one of my most recent ventures being to Snowdonia and climbing Mt Snowdon. I am very passionate about photography, it allows me to capture moments and share them with others that otherwise wouldn’t experience. However, I believe that some moments should be enjoyed purely there and then and not exclusively through a camera lens
