I have recently finished studying Structural engineering with Architecture at The University of Sheffield. Studying a dual honours degree was extremely demanding, but completely worthwhile. The course proved to be an interdisciplinary programme that combined the fundamentals of architecture with essential building structures knowledge.

I have followed Civic prior to beginning work, and knew that they were the company for me as their values on sustainability and people’s wellbeing are at the forefront of their design; which aligns perfectly with my own principles and the research I produced for my fourth year dissertation study.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking for my family, painting, playing netball and korfball, and during the warmer months of the year I frequently spend days driving to wild swim spots across the UK.

In September 2020, I climbed a 350m ascent to reach a huge glacial swim called Llyn Cau in North Wales. It was one of the colder swims I have done. I plan on investing in a wetsuit very soon for the colder months!
