I’m Bex, communications manager at Civic Engineers. I look after everything from social media activity to media relations, internal communications and events. I have more than seven years’ industry experience in corporate PR and marketing, having worked across PR agencies and latterly at an international law firm. Before joining Civic Engineers, I managed programmes for clients in the built environment, including commercial property providers, academic experts and developers.

I’m nosey for details and always on the hunt for the latest gossip. As an English literature graduate, I love storytelling and supporting teams in raising the profile of their expertise and the projects they are most proud of. I feel lucky to work for a practice that is so passionate about having a positive impact and improving people’s lives.

Outside of work, I’m a huge food fan and love trying out new destinations, both in the UK and further afield – I’m hoping to tick off New York and Istanbul next on the list. Being from Yorkshire I also love being outdoors with friends and my four-legged (mischievous) companion Austin in tow!
