I have recently joined Civic Engineers after graduating from the University of Strathclyde with an BEng (Hons) in Civil and Environmental Engineering. I am very excited to be back working in the Glasgow studio after a great experience as an intern in summer of 2021. Over my time at Civic I have enjoyed working on a wide range of projects within Urban Infrastructure.

My degree allowed for in depth study into the aspects of Civil Engineering which most effect our environment, such as water treatment, drainage and contaminated land remediation. I am particularly interested in sustainable urban drainage systems and was able to complete my dissertation on the effectiveness of a set of raingardens which I worked on during my internship.

Outside of work, I mainly enjoy reading and eating pastries- which I try and offset by playing lots of ultimate frisbee, a sport I picked up during my studies.

I’m aiming to read 60 books this year and have been exploring many different second-hand bookshops to help get me there!
