I joined Civic Engineers in October 2020 having built up a wide range of experience across the cultural, commercial, education and residential sectors. I have worked on projects large and small, from one off art installations to complex commercial developments.

I am particularly passionate about the creative re-use of existing buildings as I believe that how we approach our existing building stock is key to how we tackle the climate crisis. I have worked on a number of Listed Buildings and Scheduled Ancient Monuments. I love learning about the history of how buildings and places have developed and changed and understanding this is often key to unlocking their potential.

Away from work I spend most of my time chasing after my young son and taking him to watch trains and buses – his favourite activity! We’ve recently had another addition to the family, a brilliant baby girl, so free time is extremely limited but I love all things sport and when I get a chance I play tennis, golf and football. I am also a keen home brewer and enjoy developing my own recipes, from stouts and porters to lagers and IPA’s.
