I am a senior structural design engineer, working since 2002 in the UK. I have always loved science and problem solving and found engineering to be a great combination between the two. I have broad experience and I designed a variety of structures, including industrial, residential, commercial, and public budlings. This broad experience has given me the opportunity to expand my knowledge and taught me skills that I can apply not only to my work, but to other facets of my life as well. Structural engineering has helped me develop a can-do attitude. My favorite part of my job is walking into a building I designed.

Outside of work, I spend my time with my children, traveling and reading.

I am passionate about science fiction and the outer space and cheering for the technological advancements that will allow humans to reach new frontiers. I am a huge fan of Asimov and I never cease to marvel at how the combination of imagination and science is shaping the future of humanity.
