Senior Structural Engineering Technician
Hi, I first discovered 3D modeling software while studying product design at college. I was fascinated by the ability to build something digitally before even getting my hands dirty with sketches or physical prototypes. I decided this was something that I needed to explore. After graduating university with a BSc in CAD & Construction, I found my way into Civil and Structural engineering. Now with over 15 years in the industry, I have been lucky enough to have worked on some incredible and challenging projects all over the world that have tested and pushed my personal development. I believe a strong collaborative relationship with all teams involved in a project is key to delivering a solid set of drawings and coordinated 3D models.
Outside of work I can be found in the gym or taking long meditative walk across London. And if you can’t find me, I will probably be holidaying on a remote island very far away from anything or anyone.
I keep my creative side active with the help of my 3D printers. Tinkering with ideas and designs for anything from wall art to re-creating scale models of London’s iconic buildings. The Tate Modern museum is one of my favourites. For me, the building’s exterior and history of use is far more interesting than the artwork they display within it.
