Hi, I’m Tejal. I’m a Purchase Ledger Clerk here at Civic Engineers. I am currently studying my Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting (Level 3 AAT) whilst working full time. I am working towards becoming qualified in AAT and hopefully becoming a Qualified Chartered Accountant.

Straight from school, I decided to do an apprenticeship in Accounting where I gained a lot of knowledge, working for The University of Manchester. I have always liked the idea of putting the theory work into practice in the workplace. I have achieved a number of qualifications such as a Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration and a Level 2 Diploma in Foundation Accounting (Level 2 AAT) which has enabled me to grow and thrive in my chosen career.

In my spare time, I like to explore new restaurants for some exciting food and cocktails where I can socialise with my friends. I also love going to the gym and keeping fit. Besides this, I love to help out in my family’s business – my parent’s off licence where I can interact with customers.

In 2019 I had a holiday of a lifetime with my family when we travelled to Kenya/Mombasa for my cousin’s wedding. One of my biggest highlights was having a safari and seeing the big five – Lion, elephant, cheetah, rhino and buffalo. I also conquered one of my biggest fears on safari, which was being scared of heights, by having a hot air balloon ride. I found this very enjoyable and the views were stunning and out of this world.
