Hi, I’m Temesgen. I’m originally from Ethiopia, where I studied my undergraduate degree in civil engineering at Mekelle University. Following my graduation, I got my first job as a junior engineer at MT Consulting, a small-sized consulting firm that primarily worked on residential RC buildings. As a junior engineer, I was involved in a diverse range of responsibilities, including site supervision, modelling using CAD software’s, cost estimation for bidding, and structural design of buildings. However, my main interest was in the structural design side of the job, which led me to pursue a Masters in Structural Design and Construction Management here at Kingston University in London. Shortly after completing my master’s degree, I was fortunate enough to join Civic as a graduate engineer, where I have been involved in a variety of exciting projects.

Outside of work I love football both watching and playing, I’m a big Arsenal fan! I also love reading books and watching movies.
