What a fabulous Festival!

Over the last two weeks we have been proud to support the Festival of Place and what a festival it has been!

There have been inspiring speakers, thought provoking Parleys, truly diverse panels, discussions on the big issues the built environment industry faces and some incredible examples of place making that will make for healthier towns and cities. What’s more, 3 of our projects, Citu’s Climate Innovation District, Mayfield Manchester and The Drumsheds, London were all finalists in The Pineapples awards, with Mayfield winning Future Place!

We’ve been proud to be supporters of this unique Festival and during the first week both our Founding Director, Stephen O’Malley and Glasgow Director, Isla Jackson took part in the conversation during Parley sessions. Stephen spoke about Masterplanning for Equity and the Climate Emergency, whilst Isla discussed modern methods of construction, particularly their importance in relation to the climate emergency.

It’s not too late to catch up on all the sessions, fireside chats and on the projects showcased as part of the Pineapples awards.
