Set in the heart of Royal Tunbridge Wells, Rose Hill School provides private education from Nursery to Year 9. Civic Engineers carried out the structural engineering design of a new building to enclose and existing external swimming pool. The single storey structure encompasses the existing pool and creates new accommodation and changing rooms associated with the operation of the building.

A solution of long span roof beams and a deep truss were adopted to enable the building to be built tight up against an existing campus building. A sustainable approach to surface water drainage was adopted utilising rain chains and a buried soakaway within the soft landscaping adjacent to the site.
