Vita Coventry

Hot on the heels of the progress of Vita Cardiff, a planning application has been submitted for a striking new Vita Student development in Coventry.  This new build student residential scheme is made up of 2 towers, 11 and 14 storeys respectively.  Designed by Leeds based architects Fuse, the striking building in the heart of Coventry will provide 496 studios with a ground floor of ‘hub space’ and an external courtyar, all only 300m from Coventry railway station.  The building overlooking Greyfriars Green Park means that there is immediate access to a lush green space.

Vita Student Coventry is part of the Friargate Masterplan, which will form a crucial part of the regeneration to this part of Coventry’s city centre and proposes over 3 million square feet of new development.

We are acting as civil and structural engineers on the project, working alongside Fuse Architects and Faithful and Gould (Project Managers).  Bowmer and Kirkland (contractors) will be working on stage 3.  Construction is due to start in September 2020 with completion due in July 2022.
