Appointed as preferred National Trust consultant

Our work with the National Trust looks set to continue as we have gained a coveted position as one of four consultants on the esteemed National Trust’s  ‘Associate Model’ to undertake structural and civil engineering works. Preferred consultants are selected on their ability to deliver engineering and conservation services focusing on sustainability and innovation.

The practice has enjoyed working for the National Trust  on over 20 projects across thirteen properties in London and the Southeast since 2017, including a number of monuments, structures and buildings at Morden Hall Park in greater London.

Following the successful appointment, our engineers are now undertaking work on Eashing Old Bridge, an arched stone bridge spanning two channels of the River Wey in Eashing, Surrey. The bridge is a Scheduled Monument and dates back to 1233; the scope of work includes a visual inspection of the bridge and preparation of a Structural Review Report. This report will highlight any defects, capture the current condition and likely deterioration mechanisms for the bridge, as well as set out the requirement for any Special Inspections or further Structural Assessments required.
