This month it’s a year  since we opened our Civic Engineers Glasgow Studio after taking on the Glasgow arm of Structa LLP.

The move saw the 11-strong team, led by Directors Iain McIntyre and Isla Jackson, become part of Civic Engineers, establishing a permanent Scottish home and a 4^th studio in addition to the existing studios in Manchester, London and Leeds.

Since the studio opened the team has worked on a wide variety of structural and civil engineering projects, including the high profile Glasgow City Council Avenues project which will see a number of key Glasgow city centre streets redesigned.

Glasgow Director, Isla Jackson commented, “It has been an incredibly busy year since we became part of Civic Engineers and things have gone from strength to strength. Having a permanent Scottish home alongside our other studios has enabled us to build closer links with our clients and collaborators in Scotland and the support they have shown us has been hugely appreciated. We are proud  the team have built up and are working on a varied portfolio of projects across Scotland including a number of schools, distilleries, residential and commercial developments and we’re  looking forward to building on this work over the coming year.”
