Introducing our newly promoted Director, Leah Stuart
Congratulations to Leah Stuart who has been promoted to Director and joins the Board of Civic Engineers!
Leah was previously Head of Transport and has worked at Civic Engineers since 2016, she will be based our of our Leeds Studio but will continue to work on our projects across the UK. With more than 15 years’ experience in urban regeneration and transport planning, Leah has a keen interest in the public realm and has worked extensively in development and regeneration, both on large mixed-use masterplans and providing more strategic advice. She has played a key role in helping to build the profile of the practice in Leeds and is working on projects such as Citu’s Climate Innovation District, Glasgow Avenues and U+I’s Mayfield development in Manchester.
Speaking about her appointment, Leah said, “I’m delighted to be joining the team of directors at Civic Engineers. I’m proud and excited to be part of a business that has also launched its own Climate Charter and is making a real impact on the carbon cost of the built environment through carefully considered design, and well-informed decision-making.”
