Join us on an upcoming NLA Study Tour of Phase 2 of Gascoigne East, part of the Gascoigne Estate in Barking and Dagenham.

Working with architects White Arkitekter, we designed the structural, civil and transport components for the major regeneration by BeFirst, which has reimagined Gascoigne into one of London’s most liveable, sustainable neighbourhoods.

The NLA tour will take place on Thursday 5^th September from 8.30am to 10am, and will be led by Rob Westcott, director in our London studio, alongside White Arkitekter and BeFirst.

The team will share their insights on the transformation of the 1960s estate into 500 new homes, schools, a community centre and commercial spaces for local residents.

Gascoigne East Phase 2 also comprises a climate resilient, future proofed public realm, including a new park, courtyards and street network.

Rob and the project team will discuss the various challenges and successes of the project, including the integration of sustainable urban drainage (SuDs) and self-enforcing low speed roads.
