London Studio Members Light Up The Streets of London
On Saturday 21st September saw team members from our London studio, Robert Westcott, Claire Stone and Dominique Pitman light up the streets of London when they took part in Shine 2019.
Joining 20,000 other walkers, Team Civic began their half marathon at 9pm and finished just before 2am. The route took them through many of London’s most iconic sights including walking over Tower Bridge and they passed some of London’s famous landmarks including Buckingham Palace and The London Eye.
The team were looking surprising fresh on Monday morning, proudly sporting their well-earned medals. Business Administrator, Claire Stone said, “Even through the seizing up and wobbly legs we continued to smile and power through this amazing event supporting the fight to beat Cancer.” The team have so far already raised over £400 for Cancer Research, an impressive contribution which will help Cancer Research’s aim to double cancer survival rates and beat Cancer.
