Shortlisted for NLA Awards
Congratulations to our team who have been shortlisted for a prestigious Placemaking award at this year’s New London Awards for the Gloucester Gate Playground in Regent’s Park, Westminster.
The annual awards celebrate all scales of projects, from community-led to large-scale mixed-use developments, both built and unbuilt, that contribute to and enhance the vision of the capital. Completed last year, our team worked alongside landscape architect Land Use Consultants and a play-specialist artist Jim Buchan Projects, to create the new playground, which doubled in size and brought a fully inclusive and natural playground for children in London to enjoy. The Placemaking category recognises new and rediscovered public spaces that have been given new life through improvements to streets, squares, playgrounds, water spaces or parks. Good luck to our team who worked on the Gloucester Gate Playground and fingers crossed for the awards evening later in the year!
Two additional projects we are on the design team for have also received nominations in the Planning and Unbuilt categories; with the Gascoigne Estate Regeneration project shortlisted for a Planning award and Sutton Estate improvement works also receiving a nomination in the Unbuilt category.
