Northfield Grove and Eden finalists at Unlock Net Zero Awards

The shortlist for the Unlock Net Zero Awards 2024 has been announced, and our projects have been recognised for four awards for their successful contributions to the decarbonisation journey.

With finalists selected by a panel of leading industry experts, the Unlock Net Zero Awards champion organisations and projects in the built environment for their active commitment to sustainability. This year, two of our projects have been shortlisted across an impressive four awards categories:

  • Northfield Grove in Edinburgh has been shortlisted for the ‘Biodiversity and Nature’ award. The project is transforming Northfield Grove into a climate-adapted neighbourhood, with attractive, multi-functional green infrastructure and sustainable rainwater drainage, providing a rich environment within which residents and nature can flourish. Find out more about the project here.
  • Eden is up for three awards, including ‘commercial building of the year’, ‘biodiversity and nature’ and ‘collaboration of the year on a new development’. As one of the UK’s most sustainable commercial office buildings and with Europe’s largest living wall, the groundbreaking project has won multiple industry accolades since it completed earlier this year. We were proud to be civil and structural engineers and support with decreasing the project’s embodied carbon. Find out more here.

You can find the full awards shortlist here. We wish the best of luck to all other finalists nominated at this year’s awards and look forward to joining them at the awards ceremony on 26th June.
